Dr. Ben Magleby grew up in Portland, Oregon. Ever since he was a little boy, he has always loved art and how it can be used to communicate with others. After completing a bachelor’s degree in visual arts at Brigham Young University he graduated from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Fransisco.
While he was in college and dental school, Dr. Ben illustrated guidebooks, teaching materials and short animations to help others understand science and dentistry. He also wrote and illustrated Sugarbug Doug, a storybook to help teach dental disease prevention to children. A few years later, he finished Dr. Ben’s Dental Guide, a guidebook focused on explaining dental treatment to adults.
Following dental school, Dr. Ben served as a dentist in the US Navy. In addition to spending an additional year of training in the military Advanced Education in General Dentistry program, he also completed a tour in Fallujah, Iraq treating dental emergencies. Upon finishing his military service, Dr. Ben moved back to California and practiced general dentistry in Fresno before starting his own family practice in Clovis.
Dr. Ben and his wife love living in the central valley with their five children. He loves taking his kids jogging and has run a few marathons. He also likes to visit elementary schools and teach kids about teeth, cavities, and sugarbugs.
With a passion for patient care and oral health, Tammy began her journey in the dental field in 2009, starting as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA). Her dedication and expertise led to a pivotal role in helping Dr. Ben open a new dental office in 2014. Since then, the practice has grown significantly, a testament to Tammy’s commitment to excellence and patient satisfaction. Tammy finds immense joy in helping patients achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted. Known for her caring approach, she takes pride in making a positive impact on each patient’s life. One of the aspects she values most is working with a talented, close-knit team that makes each day fulfilling. Outside of work, Tammy is married and is the proud mother of two boys who she adores. They keep her busy in her spare time, and she loves every moment spent with her family.
Brooke graduated with a B.S. in theoretical mathematics at Long Beach State University. She is excited to work at Dr. Ben’s office due to the creative atmosphere and family-oriented team!
Professional and personable dental receptionist with experience in managing front desk operations. She loves ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for every patient. When not working, she loves spending time with family.
Megan grew up in Paso Robles and moved here to attend Dental Hygiene school at Fresno city college. She has been in the Central Valley for 10years and is enjoying her career as an RDH with Dr Ben. She loves spending time with family and her adopted pets in her free time.
Mackenzie Oliver is a dedicated and skilled registered dental hygienist, committed to promoting optimal oral health for her patients. With expertise in performing dental prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, as well as administering local anesthesia and nitrous oxide, Mackenzie ensures that her patients receive comprehensive care. She is passionate about educating patients on improving their oral hygiene and fostering a better understanding of the factors that influence their dental health. Building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients is one of the most rewarding aspects of her work.
Jorden is a graduate from Fresno City College dental hygiene program class of 2017. As a dedicated dental hygienist with years of experience she has a passion for promoting oral health and educating patients about dental care. She loves her career and enjoys helping others achieve their best smile!
I love being a dental hygienist and helping all my patients have healthier, sparkling smiles. When I’m not working I love traveling with my husband and son, cooking and baking, and anything creative!
Kathy graduated from Fresno City College Dental Hygiene program in 2013. It's great to work with a team that is focused on great patient care.
Adriana is a proud graduate of the Fresno City College Dental Hygiene Program and a native of California’s Central Valley. As a dedicated dental hygienist, she loves being part of a passionate team focused on patient care. Outside of work, Adriana is married with two children and enjoys staying active through workouts and outdoor adventures.
Eugene is an RDA who attended school at Kaplan College and has been working with Dr. Ben since 2013.
Kristina was born and raised in Fresno. She started her dental career at Brightwood College and graduated as a Dental Assistant in July of 2016.
Registered Dental Assistant Jose is a graduate of the Reedley College dental assisting program. He has been a dental assistant since 2019 and has enjoyed every second of working here at Dr.Bens family dentist.
Hannah is a Registered Dental Hygienist dedicated to providing thorough, compassionate care and helping patients feel at ease during their visits. With a background in dental hygiene and working with personal training clients on the side, she brings a unique understanding of overall wellness to her approach. In her free time, Hannah enjoys fitness, spending time with her family, golfing, concerts, and travel.
Julia has been working in the dental field since 2015. She is passionate about providing her patients with a great experience. Additionally, she loves spending time with her family, including being a mom to two children and one fur baby.
Vannessa has been in the dental field since 2016. She continued her education and became a Registered Dental Assistant with Extended Functions in 2022. She loves working alongside Dr. Ben. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Lauren was born and raised in Clovis. She attended Kaplan College and graduated in 2014 as a dental assistant.
She enjoys making patients feel comfortable and cared for.
